Water Filter Workshop Overview
The project mainly focuses on the making of DIY water filter which enables the students to learn about different types of impurities present in water and how they are treated. It helps the students to learn about the filtering process and the things used in it. Students make their water filter by using simple material like charcoal, sand, stone and wood by following easy steps.
Learning outcomes according to national curriculum of general science
- The activity discusses about the importance of water in eco system and its properties.
- Students learn the impurities in water and how they are treated.
- Hands-on experience of making a filter explains the working of filter.
